Film director and environmentalist Alex Eaves is bringing his reuse roadshow to the Jaycee Skatepark for one day only.
Alex will be giving tours of his tiny house, built inside a U-Haul Box Truck with repurposed, upcycled, and found materials. He'll also have a pop up shop for his reuse apparel brand, STAY VOCAL. The brand actually began as a skateboard company in 2003.
Joining Alex will be local Greenville resident, Chris Strathy AKA The Capable Carpenter, who will be bringing The Dogghouse, a mobile carpentry shop built inside a vintage camping trailer.
Tour the truck, tour the shop, get inspired by creative reuse and repurposing ideas, then pick up a Reuse T-Shirt to keep the movement going.
On display will be Tiny Homes, Container Homes, Modular Homes and Portable Structures. Additional exhibits will include building equipment, tools, supplies, real estate brokers, accessories, travel destinations and recreational products shown to a projected attendance of over 15,000 local and regional consumers.
